MES Public School (NCLP) is being run in the afternoon shift from 25th Sept., 2005 under the National Child Labour Project of Union Labour Ministry of Govt. of India. The students from class 1st to 5th are provided 100% free education to the children of labour class so that they may not drop education for earning the livelihood for the family. They are provided mid-day meal besides scholarship of Rs.150 p.m. This is a partially sponsored project and rest needs of the students are met by the MES from the donors who donate notebooks, uniforms, shoes, toys and sweets etc on the festivals. We are running one unit of 50 students throughout the year. It is now almost 13 years that this project is running successfully. It was started from the rented premises and now, it is being run from the Society’s own premises of 1,000 sq. yards approx.
The Central Govt. has discontinued NCLP scheme since April 2020 for the time being.
